The doctor said that they performed "closed reduction surgery" on my arm which means that he put my crooked bone back in place while I was asleep to anesthesia. I woke up with a cast on arm that was there for 10 weeks.
Once the cast came off, i noticed that my arm was crooked and I could not move my wrist 100%.
The doctor said to let 5 weeks go by so my arm could get less stiff and i should be fine.
6 weeks later.. I can barley move my wrist (my thumb is always facing towards me..I can make my palm face up at least 90%)..but i can not make my back hand face up at all..it feels stuck and hurts if I try too hard..so i only have 50% range motion of my wrist.
I went to go see the doctor and he recommended it should stay as is because if he does surgery it might still be the same and I'll have a big scar on my forearm and the bone might not heal this time.
The muscles in my forearm feel funny at times, like they're jumping..and it hurts when i make rapid movements with my arm (for example..today i hurt my arm really bad by turning the steering wheel to the right really fast to make a quick turn into a parking space)
i don't know what i should do..i was in athlete and now i feel i can't do anything..should I wait until Im financially secure to get better health insurance and try to get it fixed?
Here are some pictures of an x-ray and what my arm looks like.
