It's a free country, and if you feel like you need a second opinion, then go get one. A few things you should know, however. First off, the fibula is a non-weight bearing bone, so if the fracture is mid shaft or higher, usually allignment is not an issue. Secondly, given that it is a non-weight bearing bone, it will usually remodel and throw down more bone around the fracture site and heal normally. However, to answer your question more throughly, more questions are needed from you. And since I am not a doctor, I would go get yourself a second opinion.

i'm somewhat shocked that they don't look too in touch with reference to the shortcoming of recent bone formation. Seeing a physio won't make this happen! I in lots of circumstances propose warning while it comprises advising a 2nd opinion yet I do sometimes sense that it incredibly is beneficial. on your people case, it would be incredibly worth conversing to somebody else. each now and then, if fractures fail to heal, affected person's could require different strategies at the same time with bone grafting.

that's not much of a swap is it? broken leg for an opinion 1st or 2nd i don't like either but will at a push have the opinion 1

on the matter of checking for faulty alignment just go to another e.r hospital and say the leg is giving me pain and you are worried if everything alright as i've had operation on it recently

Go see an osteologist. If the bone has already knitted though it will need to be re-broke.

as a side note from someone that has broken a few bones, (and had a screw put in once) they never feel the same as before they were broke, but you get used to it as time goes on.

try a different doctor but I think they will tell you the same as your own doc as your on file so they will just look it up. And if you want you could keep on until they decide to cut open your leg and refix it

You can go to a second doctor, but if somethings hurt your gonna need help...
