Hi I'm 14 and I broke my wrist Saturday and need a cast for it. It's not really broken mor of a fracture, there Is a small chip in the bone. It's the small bone next to the thumb bone. Anyways I'm suppose to go on this big ski trip in 4 weeks. Do you guys think it is safe to go snowboarding with a cast on my wrist. I am a intermediate snowboarder so I no how to be safe and go slow. I broke it in the park going over a box but I know I would not be able to go over any of that stuff. So what do you guys think? Is it ok for me to go snowboarding with a cast on? Serous answers pleases

I've broken my wrist multiple times and the one was from snowboarding, I was casted up and just slipped on a glove that fitted over my cast and I was set to go ! Depending what wrist you broke and which way you ride it may get annoying binding up if it's opposites but that's least of worries. Just take caution and don't ride the park or just take it easy in there. Can't be boarding all year round so go for it ! Hope you have a speedy recovery and enjoy the powder ! (:

Well, for me, you can still go on your snowboarding trip, but you should limit yourself with the kind of rides you're doing! No fast ride etc. Go for enjoyment and not for impressing people.

It's still depends on your parents anyway! :)

No, because if what happened to cause the wrist problem in the first place, happens again, the break will break again.

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you do is there a way you can wrap it with something to help support it?

I wouldn't. You don't want to risk any further injuries.
