jellyfish stings, HELP FAST?

i was swimming around the jetty for the anual brighton jetty classic and i now have a huge jellyfish sting on my right hip, how can i stop it from stinging???

Use white vinegar. It does the same thing as urine...inactivating the nematocysts (stingers).



DO NOT rinse it with fresh or tap water before you put urine or vinegar on it. That will encourage the release of more toxins into your system.



You can also use ibuprophen for the pain in addition to applying the vinegar to the wound.

You can urinate on it.

Taking a hot shower is best because the heat will penetrate the skin where you were stung. Also people use vinegar.

Have someone pee on it-or in a cup and dump it on it..it will help ease the pain and heal..good luck!

pour vinegar on it when i got stung in the bahamas the first aid people put vinegar on it.
