I wouldn't soak it in iced water, I would probably just hold an ice pack or wrap an ice pack around your foot/ankle because otherwise your foot will go worse from the temperature of the water. Just have the ice on your foot/ankle for 10 minutes then take it off, after a few hours, repeat again for 10 minutes. If the swelling does not reduce, I would seek medical advice.

Cold water can aid lower swelling. Try the threading system. Thread a work of skinny fishing cord, or the flat however glossed dental floss, and even embroidery thread in among the hoop and the finger. Needs to be approximately a foot or see you later. Leave a brief finish when you thread, a couple of inches, you want this to paintings with. Now, as you're pulling the fast finish of the thread by way of, pull toward the finger tip, wiggling the thread round to tug the hoop off. Grandma must have her hand laying at an angled up role whilst pulling. Why do the nurses wish the band off? Her Doctor might additionally prescribe Lasix (sp), which rids the frame of extra water. Good Luck!
